"Inspiring Youth Into Volunteering" Project

Volunteering Sunshine Coast is spearheading an exciting campaign launching in early 2021. The aim is to promote the benefits of Volunteering for young people. If you know an enthusiastic person (aged 25 or younger) who volunteers their time in the Sunshine Coast community, nominate them to be one of the faces of our "Inspire Volunteering" program. (Self nominations are most welcome!)

Simply fill out a short registration form and help share the stories of inspiring young volunteers.

International Volunteer Managers Day 2020

November 5 is International Volunteer Managers Day. IVMDay was developed in order to bring recognition to individual Managers of Volunteers and their roles in the mobilisation and support of the world’s volunteers.

Volunteer managers provide the leadership and direction that allows people to build a good and just society and to mend the social fabric. Without professional leadership, people’s time, talents and efforts could be wasted.
