Warm greetings!  I hope this finds you well and in good spirits.

Thanks friends who visited my exhibition at Burnet Fine Art.  If you were not able to make it but would still like to visit, the exhibition is on view through November 28th.  I would love to meet you there!   I will also be in the gallery Saturday, November 21st from 11am-5pm, or I am happy to make plans to meet you at a another time.

The entire exhibition and catalog is also viewable online here with the essay "One Hundred Flowers" written by Marian Lovett.

In addition, there will be an Instagram Live artist's dialog with Marian Lovett on November 19th from 5-6pm CST.  Be sure to follow @burnetart on Instagram to tune in!

Artists Respond: Springboard for the Arts

I am excited to share that my I Love You Institute project has been selected for Springboard's initiative.  I Love You Institute markers and I am Grateful For You postcards will be distributed to 110 families at an emergency shelter in Minneapolis.  COVID-19 has meant an increase in isolation and lack of human interaction for many.  The kits are a means for recipients to engage in art activities by creating and sending messages of gratitude to a friend, neighbor, or loved one.
MIA Foot in the Door exhibition
 
Concurrently on view at Burnet, my painting "Three Moons"  is included in the Minneapolis Institute of Art's digital exhibition, Foot in the Door.  The open exhibition has been hosted every ten years since 1980 and features small works (12 inches and under) by artists across the state of Minnesota.  You can view the work here and the complete virtual exhibition here.
