Special Mid-Term Nominations and Election for Chair and Vice Chair
Nominations due November 30, 2020
The Penn Knox Neighborhood Association chair elected in January 2020 has moved out of Philadelphia and PKNA is now seeking nominations for both chair and vice chair for the remainder of the regular term (January through December 2021).
If you love Penn Knox, this is an opportunity to take a greater role in working on behalf of your neighborhood! To serve as an officer, you must be a resident of Penn Knox and at least 18 years old.
If you'd like to nominate yourself (or someone else), please email pennknox.germantown@gmail.com with your name, address, phone number, and any information that would help the community know who you are.
Nominees will have a chance to introduce themselves at our December 1 community Zoom meeting. A vote will be taken at our January community zoom meeting on December 1 (or via email for those unable to attend).
Volunteers Wanted for Zoning Committee

PKNA Community Votes: December 1, 2020
During our regular monthly meeting on December 1, 2020, we will vote to officially install a Chair and Vice Chair and to approve our by-laws. PKNA members may vote by email in advance of the meeting if they cannot attend. Look for our email newsletter and check our website as December 1 approaches for a meeting link and voting instructions. Please try to attend!

Take a look at the latest draft of our by-laws here. We will discuss these at the November meeting and vote on them in December.
Show Howell Park a Little Love on November 14
Join the Friends of Howell Park on Love Your Park Day, Saturday, November 14, from 10 a.m. to noon. If you're up for planting bulbs and spreading mulch on the walking path, sign up here or just drop by. The park is t 5215 Greene Street, up the long driveway between the two houses.
Become a Dues-Paying Member!
Pay your dues with a small, free-will contribution. Dues help with event permits, refreshments and equipment, legal fees, and printing. PKNA works on behalf of all of the residents of Penn Knox.
Suggested dues:
Individual: $10/year Household: $25/year
