With a generous gift from the Lundin family, UArizona is doubling down on mineral resources education and innovation. Recognizing the increasing complexity of sustainably and responsibly supplying mineral resources to a rapidly growing global population, the University is working toward creating a new interdisciplinary mining and mineral resources school to provide the quality, quantity, and diversity of workforce required and the innovation needed to positively impact the future of the industry, environment, and the communities that hold these resources.

Learn more about the gift and our first steps toward transformation, and hear from the Lundin family and UArizona leadership.

Be sure to watch our story unfold in future CATALYST editions and on social media as we progress on our journey to making this vision a reality.
