I Vote Because...

I Vote Because...

The November election is a few days away. Community members from the nine-member campuses were asked to share why they are voting and how their vote has been shaped by the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph.  Take a few minutes to watch the video

Thank you to all those that participated and a special thanks to the Campus Ministers - Gail Gresser (Mount Saint Mary's University, Los Angeles), Dan Leahy (Regis College), and Sr. Sharon Howell, CSJ (St. Catherine University) for the inspiration and organization of this project.

Remember to get out and vote!

Founder's Day Celebrations

On October 15th, 1650, six women gathered in a small kitchen in Le Puy, France. These women became the first Sisters of St. Joseph.  Many campuses celebrated Founder's Day.  A few highlights included: Fontbonne University (pictured above) made face masks and educated community members about the Sisters of St. Joseph, and Elms College staff members, Sr. Carol Allan and Sr. Deirdre Griffin had a virtual conversation and reflected on the significance of Founder's Day and being a Sister of St. Joseph.  St. Joseph's College's Brooklyn campus handed out free “You Are My Dear Neighbor” pins,  as well as a copy of “That All May Be One,” published by the Association of Colleges of the Sisters of St. Joseph.

The Association of Colleges of Sisters of St. Joseph honors our founders who continue to inspire and shape our work today.
