A FINAL NOTE 

As we move into November, our annual meeting is on the horizon and the new Board and Committee Chairs will soon be elected and appointed. Also, this is my last Log message as Commodore. As I reflect on the past year, I think of the pandemic-related unexpected operational issues that arose at the beginning of 2020 and jeopardized our season plans. Yacht clubs around the country and sponsors of major racing events around the world were posting cancellations at a rapid pace. The only certainty about our season was the uncertainty that we faced. We postponed a number of early season events. Nonetheless, we were determined to have a season, and kicked it off with a virtual Opening Day and Blessing of the Fleet ceremony.
