We Have So Many Exciting
Things Planned for 2021
Upcoming Programs
Since we've been meeting virtually, we've been able to expand our horizons when reaching out to speakers. We have spectacular guests lined up for every month. Plus, Anna Lorton, our tips expert, will continue to bring clever tricks for all skill levels.
JANUARY MEETING:
Cecelia Campochiaro Gives Us an Introduction to Sequence Knitting and Making Marls
Hear about sequence knitting, marls as colorwork, and Cecelia’s journey from high tech to knitting-book author.
See below for her class for Puddletown.
FEBRUARY MEETING:
Kristine Vejar and Adrienne Rodriguez, cofounders of A Verb For Keeping Warm, share Journeys in Natural Dyeing
Kristine and Adrienne share their travels where they visited natural dyers who use their locally-sourced dyes to create textiles that evoke beauty, a connection to the land on which they live, and showcase their mastery.
MARCH MEETING:
Jennifer Berg Presents We Are Still Here: Keeping My Culture Alive Through Knit Design
Jennifer will talk about sharing her Navajo heritage through Native-focused designs. She'll show her inspirations and talk about appreciation versus appropriation and introduce her Tsekoh Cowl.
See below for her class for Puddletown.
APRIL MEETING:
Carson Demers discusses Tips to Knitting Longevity and Comfort
Let’s face it, we all want to knit forever! Here’s a talk that will give you an overview of what you need to have in mind to make your goal. We’ll discuss specific tips that you can take away and try in your knitting. And you’ll get some strategies for integrating them into your knitting routine.
Upcoming Virtual Classes
We have two special classes scheduled for early 2021!
In February, Cecelia Campochiaro will teach a virtual two-session class on the essentials of Sequence Knitting and Making Marls. In April, Jennifer Berg will teach a virtual two-session colorwork class, focusing on the Tsekoh Cowl that she designed specifically for Puddletown.

Members will have the advantage of early bird registration and discounts for both virtual classes. Class descriptions and registration details will be released in the new year.
Virtual or In-Person Meetings?
Oh, we wish we had the answers!

This much we know for sure—Puddletown will continue to meet on Zoom at least through June 2021. After June, meetings will keep following OHA guidelines, whatever that entails.

We know that some of you crave the community of in‑person meetings. We know that for others, Zoom meetings have made attending Guild events much easier. We don't know exactly what the future holds, but we’ll do our best to provide inspiring programs and to promote our sense of community for all our members.
Why Renew Now?
As a volunteer-led organization, we keep our administration simple. Membership is for the calendar year (January to December).

Once again, we are offering an early bird special. Renew your membership before December 31st and save.
