Bright Star Community Church held their annual neighborhood Trunk or Treat event on Oct 31st. After collecting tons of candy, the community helped to paint a mural on the new WE Gallery truck which will be used for its West End mobile mural project.

The Public Library is also hiring! This position will work to address the digital divide in the following communities: Avondale; Price Hill; St. Bernard; West End; and Westwood and will work with youth (pre-K to grade 5), their parents/caregivers and seniors (age 55 and older). UC is conducting a research study about stress, poverty, and mental health in African American women. If you are an African American Woman between the ages of 25 to 80 living in West End, you are invited to come to a virtual focus group session to engage in discussions about stress, poverty, and mental health on December 2nd 6-8pm via Zoom. Please contact them with your phone number, email address, and mailing address. The Department of Transportation and Engineering (DOTE) is leading the Linn Street Safety Project. The purpose of this project is to improve safety on Linn Street for all users. Stay updated and participate in the process here.
