The Stanford Van will be here Today, November 17th for COVID Testing again for UNINSURED students and families. Appointments are required. Call (650)736-7172 to make an appointment for testing.

Financial Aid
Seniors, don’t forget that we’ll have a financial aid application workshop on Tonight at 6:30 p.m.! Get help filling out the FAFSA and CA Dream Act from staff from nearby financial aid offices. Check the Bearcat Lair for a link to sign up.
Pre-Med & Med School Information
Are you thinking about going to med school one day? Have you heard about pre-med programs but don’t really know what they are or how to find a good pre-med program when you’re looking at colleges? We’ll be having a guest speaker the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 6th at 6:30 p.m. to tell you everything you need to know about the path to medical school, what steps you can take now to best prepare you for that process, and to help you with any questions you have along the way. Keep the date free on your calendar and we’ll post sign up information in the Bearcat Lair later this month.

Taller de ayuda financiera
El 17 de noviembre a partir de las 6:30 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. tendremos un taller de solicitud de ayuda financiera para personas mayores y sus padres. Con la ayuda de invitados de las oficinas de ayuda financiera cercanas, los estudiantes pueden inscribirse para asistir a esta sesión virtual y obtener ayuda para completar sus solicitudes FAFSA o CA Dream Act. Dado que necesita ayuda individual con sus aplicaciones, lo colocaremos en una sala de reuniones con un experto en ayuda financiera para obtener la ayuda que necesita. ¿Estás pensando en ir a la escuela de medicina algún día? ¿Ha oído hablar de los programas de pre-medicina pero realmente no sabe qué son o cómo encontrar un buen programa de pre-medicina cuando está buscando universidades? Tendremos un orador invitado la noche del miércoles 6 de diciembre a las 6:30 p.m. para contarle todo lo que necesita saber sobre el camino a la escuela de medicina, qué pasos puede tomar ahora para prepararse mejor para ese proceso y para ayudarlo con cualquier pregunta que tenga en el camino. Mantenga la fecha libre en su calendario y publicaremos la información de registro en Bearcat Lair a finales de este mes.
