Napa County hit with new business restrictions
COVID-19 cases spike again

In response to the rising number of COVID cases locally, Napa County has moved back two steps to the Purple Tier, the most restrictive category on the state’s color-coded guidelines. The new guidelines – which go into effect Tuesday, November 17th – will have the following impact on local businesses:
·      Restaurants, wineries and fitness centers can only operate outdoors
·      Bars and breweries will have to close
·      Retail can operate indoors with a maximum of 25% capacity
·      Lodging can remain open but with modifications
·      Places of worship can only meet outdoors
·      Hair salons, barbershops, massage centers and tattoo parlors can remain indoors, but with modifications
The change in business restrictions comes following a record 251 new COVID in the county last week. By comparison, the county had only 58 cases during one week this time last month.
