CHURCH NEWS FOR NOVEMBER 17, 2020

Hello there!

We have a very important update for you with church news you do not want to miss:

In the midst of schools, restaurants, and even churches shutting down around us, God is giving us faith & favor! Here’s a scripture I love to reference when it’s time to testify of God‘s goodness! It is important that we constantly review the goodness of the Lord and name our mile markers, “Ebenezer." Here’s where we get the name:

1 Samuel 7:12 “Then Samuel [said], Hitherto (thus far) hath the LORD helped us.”

That is a powerful testimony for God’s people from the beginning of time. We can look around and see that, up until now, “hitherto,” the Lord has cared for us, carried us, and been our Great Physician, our Great Protector, Companion, and Friend! Praise His wonderful Name!

We are not ignorant of current COVID stats and governmental efforts and we are thankful that even Colorado government isn’t leaning in favor of returning to a total shut down. However, with so many crowd restrictions suggested due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, we are utilizing an online system of registration for everyone who complies with good health and healthy practices. This will be our indefinite course of action until further notice. Please visit the registration page of www.cacdenver.org any day of the week and give notice of you and your family’s in-person attendance in advance. Registration will open on Monday of each week. Please be among the first and the most motivated! We have limited space, so please get signed up early! Our online broadcast experience continues for any who miss the seating cap or are simply maintaining distance for reasons of health risk. Hey, this weekend, Lord willing, I’ll be delivering a fresh, amazingly new perspective on the Feast of Passover. Sign up today to be sure you are able to partake of the Lord’s Supper!

Tonight, Tuesday Night, we welcome you to Life Nights on Campus!! (In house small groups!)
• Calvary students, 13-18 in the student center, “Elements” taught by yours truly.
• Calvary Young Adults, 18-35, meets in the hub, “The Depths,” Applying Jonah’s book today.
• Real time, 35-55, in the dining room, “Habits of Highly Effective Christ-like Families.”
• Prime time, 55+, here in the main worship center, “Praying Through the Tabernacle,“ followed by prayer!

As many of you know, we have had to abandon operations in the kids center, known as the kids cave. With the return of small groups and the need for dispersing our numbers, it has become evident that we need that space now more than ever. Unfortunately, The government entity that caused the flood in that area this past spring is not willing to pay for the damage so they are having to be addressed by our attorney. We are hoping that there will be remuneration in the near future. However, we have felt the need to proceed with reconstruction regardless. Thankfully, our contractor is willing to give us lots of grace with regard timing to pay for reconstruction services. We have a wonderful church team that has already  jumped in to do part of the work and we will continue to do as much as we possibly can as a church. However, the need for immediate funding for this project is great. Our original construction bid was some $12,000 dollars. Please consider making a special contribution by way of our cacdenver online giving. You can type “Kids Club construction“ in your memo. Thank you so much for being a generous and conscious just congregation! We know that we can never out give the Lord.

Thank you so much for your attention today and we look forward to seeing in tonight’s sessions!

A must-see announcement from Pastor Haymon.
