A New Dawn, A New Hope

Every new dawn brings to mind the hope that the prophet wrote in Lam.3:22-23, “It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” We have all experienced setbacks in our lives this year but the morning always brings new hope. For CCI Philippines, the dawn is just breaking. We are getting up and moving forward. One of our goals this year was to start 30 new classes with 300 new students. We have already exceeded this goal! Praises to the LORD!

Testimony

From Pastor Joel Merin of Jandayan Gospel Church, Getafe, Bohol:

“While I was studying, my mind started to change my way of life, how to handle the ministry and my family. I started a new vision and goal for the progress of God's ministry. I discipled a few church members on how to evangelize, on stewardship and giving, so that they can help me with the ministry of the church. I organized the ministerial organization for the whole town of Getafe, and praise to God for the opportunity to promote the CCI training to them.

“Please help us to pray to God to give a flaming desire to our all members of the church to go and make disciples, and pray also for the health of my whole family.”

Prayer and Praise

Please pray for the translation of our training manuals into Tagalog, Cebuano and Ilonggo.
Please pray that the Lord will provide the funds to continue running the ministry next year.
Pastor Bien Alvaro came home from California to the Philippines to open a Bible school in Mindoro in partnership with CCI. Please pray that the Lord will guide him to bring these plans to reality.

Through your prayers and the help of the Holy Spirit (Phil. 1:19), the CCI ministry is growing and is effectively equipping God’s servants to make a difference in their communities for the glory of God.
