What do a dog and a cellphone have in common?

They both have a collar ID

EXCITING TEAM PUPDATE
Eric and Indy have passed their Canine Good Citizen test! We are so proud of them, they have worked hard and it is paying off. We are excited to begin training in outdoor settings and getting one step closer to service dog status.
Hey there, I'm Oakley. Allow me to introduce myself, I am smart, young and love to learn! I have learned a lot with the CWAC team but I am ready to find my furever home. I know there is someone out there for me and I just can't wait to meet them! If you want to learn more about me email my CWAC friends at fosteradopt@canineswithacause.org

Safety tips to keep your dog safe on Turkey Day!
Dog Owner Corner by Rachel Dickinson

o   Avoid giving your dog harmful foods such as poultry bones, sweets, dough and uncooked meat.

o   Make sure everyone knows not to let your dog outside when they enter/exit. You can even put a nice note on the door to remind everyone.

o   If your dog seems stressed out with the hustle and bustle, offer them a safe, calm and comfortable place to relax. Try giving them a dog-safe treat or interactive feeder to keep busy and check in on them often.

o   Holidays or not, it’s crucial for your dog to have updated identification just in case they get lost or wander off.

o   If there’s one thing that dogs love, it’s garbage…and if there’s one thing that can make dogs very sick, it’s garbage. Store any trash in a place where your dog can’t get a hold of it!
