Subscriptions are now on sale!

We are thrilled to offer a three show subscription series. Our 2020-2021 subscription series includes new works by Jera Wolfe & Jolene Bailie and an evening of self-created solos by Linnea Swan & Sara Porter.

We are committed to delivering programming and performances within government recommendations and with physical distancing, as required. We will offer both live performances and online presentations.

WCD is thrilled to welcome Guest Choreographer, Jera Wolfe!



After two weeks of quarantine in Winnipeg, Jera started working with WCD, in studio and on site, on November 9th.

Dancers for this work include: Carol-Ann Bohrn, Allison Brooks, Mark Dela Cruz, and Kira Hofmann.

Performances run December 3rd - 6th with daily shows at 4pm & 8pm.

We have increased our performance run from three to eight performances to allow for physically distanced viewing. Our audience capacity is 15-24 patrons per performance, the performance is shorter is length with no intermission, and safety protocols will be in place.

Seven weeks in the making, WCD’s Emerging Artist Initiative features five exquisite dancers performing three distinct works.

The Rachel Browne Theatre
We are now taking theatre rentals for Spring and Summer of 2021. Our venue is available to rent for dance, theatre and music performances, as well as workshops, lectures, filming, classes, meetings, and fundraisers.
