The Centre for Bioengineering and Biotechnology (CBB) is pleased to announce that we will be accepting applications for the CBB Seed Fund starting November 15, 2020!

Awards:
The traditional CBB Seed Fund Stream (this is the fourth award round) has been named the Proof of Concept stream
$5,000 award
$10,000 award
A PI may only win one award per competition ($5,000 or $10,000). An individual may apply as a primary applicant on one application per competition but may be included as a team member on other applications during the same competition period. NEW Transition to Practice stream up to $15,000 NEW Access to Data stream up to $15,000
Eligibility:
The Principal Investigator (PI) must be a CBB faculty member (definite/continuing term) at Waterloo and will serve as the contact person for the seed fund.
The PI on the subsequent external fund application should also be a Waterloo faculty member.
