Thanksgiving

For some of our church family, the annual
Thanksgiving potluck IS their Thanksgiving
feast, because they are unable to prepare
the meal for themselves.  The Community
Life Ministry would like to drop off meals
to our elderly and shut-in members.  We
are looking for people to sign up to bring
one prepared dish (see list below) to the
church on Wednesday, 11/25, so that the
individual meals can be made.  The
foods needed are:  (choose one) turkey,
mashed potatoes, a vegetable, dressing,
and sweet potatoes.  If you want to help
but don’t want to cook, donations to cover
the cost of other parts of the meal
would also be appreciated, and help is
needed to deliver the meals as well.  Please

Chair, to coordinate your contributions to
this kind service to some of our members.

Volunteer Opportunity

We are still accepting donations of non-perishable food items in the large basket outside of our sanctuary. Our next distribution will be November 15th. If you would like to volunteer to package food boxes, or distribute them, please contact June Donka at 312-286-7436.

Sign Up For Worship Service
We would love to have you sign up to serve as Lay Leader, or to lead a Children's Moment during Sunday morning worship. If you are interested in serving for the first time, but would like some tips email Brandyne for more information.
