What Lies Ahead in U.S. Politics?
When the 117th Congress is seated and President-Elect Joseph R. Biden, Jr., is inaugurated in January, how will they address systemic racism, protect immigrants and forced migrants, advance gender equality and battle climate change? Join CNN commentator Keith Boykin and NPR "Latino USA" anchor and executive producer Maria Hinojosa for Democracy and Elections in the United States on Nov. 17. Hosted by The City College of New York's Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership, this virtual conversation will be moderated by Dean Andrew Rich, with opening remarks by CCNY President and political scientist Vincent Boudreau.

Advancing Equity in NYC Prekindergarten
A year-long study of nine New York City prekindergarten classrooms yields seven principles of practice that expand the definition of high-quality early learning and increase equity for multilingual learners, children of color and others. Conducted in classrooms representing three different socioeconomic communities, the research co-led by Professor Beverly Falk of CCNY's School of Education is published in a new report and video targeted to early childhood educators' professional learning.
