Our miscarriage in September 2020 took us on a journey we never could have foreseen. We had heard many painful stories of loss and shed many tears with friends, but we never thought that story could belong to us.
In the span of one week, we wrestled through utter darkness and hopelessness. We didn't know what was happening to our baby as Sunmin was bleeding. We didn't know if this was just going to pass and we would one day meet our baby, healthy and happy. We didn't know if we had made some sort of mistake and caused the bleeding. At times, we even doubted whether Sunmin was even pregnant in the first place.
But over and over again, the Holy Spirit kept reciting Psalm 139 within our spirit. He gave us a glimmer of light. He gave us a source of hope. He gave us a reason to trust.
And it is this light, this hope, this reason to trust, this message that we seek to share with you.
