Short deadlines

UK Youth COVID-19 Relief Fund 

Grants of up to £50,000 are available for small youth organisations which have not had access to the crisis funding they need to survive the pandemic.  Eligible organisations will have a turnover of less than £250,000 and have lost funding, face the threat of closure, or had to reduce delivery or services supporting young people, and will directly support young people. Funding can be used to cover staff salaries, project running costs, organisational development and goods and equipment which support delivery.  Applications are made by completing a questionnaire about the impact of the pandemic on your organisation.  The deadline for the survey is midday on Weds 25th November.  For more information please click the button below.   

 

HMRC Grant Funding 2021 - 2024 

Grants of £20,000 - £750,000 (per year) are available for voluntary and community sector organisations to help HMRC clients engage directly with HMRC in the future.  Applications will focus on at least one of the following activities: 

  • Advice and support 

  • Digital inclusion 

  • Specialist support and referrals

Baily Thomas Charitable Fund 

Grants are available for voluntary and community organisations who support those affected by learning disabilities.  There are two levels of funding: 

  • Small grants – £250 - £10,000.  Applications are welcomed at any time.  

  • General Grants – over £10,000.  The deadline for applications is Tues 1st December. 

Funding can be used for both capital and revenue costs.  For more information please click the button below.   


Homelessness Winter Transformation Fund 

Grants of £10,000 - £100,000 are available for organisations to provide a single room and COVID-19 secure accommodation for people experiencing homelessness during winter.  Eligible organisations will have a turnover of less than £5 million, work directly with people experiencing homelessness.  Funding will be used to:  

  • Provide a single COVID-19 secure room during winter, and /or. 

  • Provide support services preventing rough sleeping.

Community Business Trade Up Programme 

Grants and business development learning packages are available to help community businesses become stronger and more sustainable.  Priority will be shown to organisations who have been hardest hit by Covid-19, in particular community businesses that are led by black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) groups, support BAME groups, and/or who are located in, or providing support to deprived and disadvantaged local communities.  Grants pf £4,000 are available to kick-start recovery and implement new ideas and initiatives.  This is followed by access to an incentivised grant of up to £6,000 rewarding increase in income from trading.  Grants are accompanied by a free learning programme, to help community businesses recover and rebuild their income and a peer-support network.  The deadline for applications is 1pm on Weds 2nd December.  For more information please click the button below.    


Ironmongers' Company 

Grants of up to £10,000 are available for registered charities which support disadvantaged children and young people (aged up to 25) to fulfil their potential.  Eligible projects will: 

  • Have educational activities which develop learning, motivation and skills. 

  • Have clear aims and objectives which will be met within a planned timescale.

Help the Homeless Grant  

Grants of up to £5,000 are available for registered charities working to assist people who are homeless to rebuild their lives and return to the community.  Funding will cover capital costs and is focused on helping people to return to mainstream society rather than offering shelter or other forms of sustenance.  The deadline for applications is Tues 15th December.  For more information please click the button below.   


Masonic Charitable Foundation Small Grants  

The following grants are available from the Masonic Charitable Foundation:  

  • Children and Young People – £1,000 - £15,000 (over one, two or three years) for projects supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable children aged 0-18 and up to the age of 25 years for disabled young people. These grants are unrestricted.  

  • Later Life Inclusion – £1,000 - £15,000 (over one, two or three years) for projects supporting disadvantaged and vulnerable older people over the age of 50 years to reduce loneliness and isolation.  Grants are for core costs.

Members' Ward Budget Grants (South Norfolk) 

Grants of between £100 - £1,000 are available for projects in the South Norfolk community which strengthen the local community, improve people’s lives and enhance services.  Eligible projects should: 

  • Promote communities working together and enhance the quality of life of people living or working in the Ward, this may be within the Ward boundary or beyond. 

  • Not easily funded elsewhere. 

  • Be able to demonstrate support in the community.

Ragdoll Foundation 

Grants are available for projects working with children and young people using the arts and creative media.  There are two levels of funding: 

  • Small grants – Up to £1,500. Deadline for applications is Fri 8th January. 

  • Main Grants - £1,500 - £50,000.  Applications can be made at any time.  

Eligible applications will: 

  • Capture and develop the imagination of children and young people up to 18 years old (or 25 years old, if SEND) through interaction with the arts. 

  • Allow the voices of children to be heard. 

  • Apply creative and innovative approaches to directly benefit children. 

  • Strive to improve equality of opportunity for children and young people. 

  • Deliver a quality experience for participants. 

  • Explain how the project will be evaluated.

Thriving Communities Fund 

Grants of £25,000 - £50,000 are available for projects which bring together place-based partnerships to improve and increase the range of existing social prescribing community activities, especially those aimed at people most impacted by Covid-19 and health inequalities.  The deadline for applications is midday on Fri 8th January.  For more information please click the button below.   


Archives Revealed Scoping Grants 

Grants of up to £3,000 are available for not for profit organisations to analyse collections and develop plans for cataloguing priorities and projects.  The funding cover one or more of the following: 

  • A collection that has the potential to be of public benefit. 

  • The ability to ensure free public access to the collection in the future, either directly or via collaboration with another organisation. 

  • If applicants are unsure of the most effective way to target resources to realise the potential impact of the collection. 

  • To develop a plan to move towards a cataloguing project or would like to scope the potential of the collection for a cataloguing project.

Golsoncott Foundation 

Grants are available for projects which promote, maintain, improve and advance the educations of the public in Arts, particularly fine arts and music.  Funding is at the discretion of the Trustees by tends to range between £250 - £3,000.  The next deadline is midday on Sat 30th January.  For more information please click the button below.    


Safe Neighbourhood Initiative Community Fund (Norwich) 

Grants are available for community and residents’ groups in Norwich to make safety improvements in their area or improve the use of communal spaces, as practical solutions to issues relating to crime, anti-social behaviour and community safety.  The fund can cover up to 95% of costs (up to £2,000) and can be used for measures like alley gates, communal fencing and security lighting. The fund can also support activities which encourage residents to make more use of communal spaces.  The deadline for expressions of interest are Sun 31st January.  For more information please click the button below.   


Norfolk County Council Arts Project Fund 

Grants of up to £500 are available to develop and promote arts activities and events.  Applications are invited from community groups, professional and voluntary sector organisations as well as individuals.  The deadline for applications is Sun 31st January.  For more information please click the button below.    


North Norfolk District Council Funds 

The following funds are available through North Norfolk District Council: 

  • Arts and Culture Fund for North Norfolk – Grants of up to £2,500 are available for projects which improve the health and wellbeing of people in North Norfolk through engagement with arts and culture.  For more information please click here.   

  • Community Transport Fund for North Norfolk – Grants are available for community transport schemes in North Norfolk which help vulnerable, disadvantaged and isolated residents of all ages to access the services and facilities they need.  For more information please click here.

Home from Hospital

Short deadline: 30th November
Norfolk County Council wishes to award a contract to a provider to deliver services to support adults on discharge from hospital. The Home from Hospital service will help people re-adjust to living at home again, gain in confidence, and provide short term practical help after hospital discharge. The length of the support is to be no more than 6 weeks. The term of the contract is expected to for 3 years initially with the option to extend for a further 7 years. Referrals to this service will come from one of the three acute hospitals in Norfolk. Norfolk County Council wish to engage with the market and meet with potential bidders to further understand options for delivery. 

 

Application for Adult Residential and Nursing Care Framework

This is an application process for appointment to the Norfolk County Council Open Framework agreement for adult residential and nursing care homes. By signing up to the framework, providers are confirming that they want to work with Norfolk County Council on the terms stated in the agreement.  The Framework Agreement will last for five years with an option to extend by a further five years.   
    

Assessment, Therapy and Family Support Framework

Norfolk County Council Children's Services wish to re-open the framework for the provision of assessment, therapy, and family support services.  Key services/provision areas in scope are detailed in the service specification, but we would expect providers to be adaptable and flexible to develop services/provisions as required. This is the 5th round of applications and the framework will remain open for new applications.     

 

Framework Agreement for Tutors to Children and Young People

Norfolk County Council wishes to procure an open framework with a range of providers delivering face to face and on-line tutorial services. The framework will be for 5 years, with the option to extend for up to a further 5 years, subject to agreement of Norfolk County Council with the service providers.     
 
         

Public Health Primary Care Contract

Applications are invited to deliver primary care services (formerly called local enhanced services), which have been divided into the following lots:              

  • Lot 1A – NHS Healthcheck Programme: the identification and invitation of the eligible population.             

  • Lot 1B – NHS Healthcheck Programme: delivery of the NHS Health Check (including Standard Operating Procedures).         

  • Lot 1C – NHS Healthcheck Programme: Community Records Update.             

  • Lot 2A – National Chlamydia Screening Programme, Emergency Hormone Contraception (EHC) and Pregnancy Testing.             

  • Lot 2B – Fitting and management of contraceptive implants and intrauterine devices (IUD) / Intrauterine Systems (IUS).             

  • Lot 3A – Stop Smoking service provision.             

  • Lot 3B – Supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT).             

  • Lot 4 – No longer available for tender.            

  • Lot 5 - Healthy Start Vitamins.         

Providers can apply for one or any combination of Lots.  

 

Semi Independent Accommodation and Support - Lot 3

Norfolk County Council wish to reopen Lot 3 of the existing multi supplier framework agreement for the provision of accommodation based support. This lot will be for young people aged16+.
Lot 3 - This lot is for providers who are able to offer flats or rooms within shared housing, with support staff available on-site. The support element is aimed at providing service users with the life skills required to seek their own accommodation and sustain long-term independent tenancy

Sport England Return to Play 

Grants area available to organisations to respond to the challenges of coronavirus so that people can safely return to taking part in sports and physical activities. There are two levels of funding: 

  • Small Grants - £300 - £10,000 to respond to the immediate challenges of returning to play, which could include delivering activities in smaller groups, or purchasing hygiene and safety equipment.  

  • Community Asset Fund - £10,001 - £50,000 to help with the safe re-opening of facilities and spaces, which could include adapting existing spaces to meet social distancing guidance or improving ventilation.

Near Neighbours Programme 

Grants of £250 - £3,000 are available for groups with projects to bring together communities and develop relationships across faith groups and ethnicities.  Eligible projects will draw together people from two or more faiths and/or ethnicities to create friendships and build trust.  Projects will be focussed at a local level and be sustainable.  For more information please click the button below.  


Ulverscroft Foundation 

Grants between £100 - £500,000 are available for projects which help visually impaired people.  Applications are welcomed from a broad range of organisations as long a s significant number of their beneficiaries are affected by a vision impairment.
