North East school leaders have reported an untenable situation around the impact of Covid-19 on staff wellbeing with increased workload, longer working hours and a decrease in staff morale. Concerns are emerging that, without intervention, the situation will impact staffing levels, the ability of schools to remain open and even long-term teacher retention.

What to expect
We will be looking at the major issues affecting SBMs right now, from new processes, procedures and ways of working due to covid 19, as well as the challenges SBMs are facing. The conference will include a mix of keynote speeches and interactive sessions, as well as a bank of pre-recorded sessions for you to access in your own time.
