MEF Supports Learning During the COVID-19 Pandemic
During these challenging times, MEF continues to enhance educational excellence and support new learning opportunities for Maynard Public School (MPS) teachers, staff, and students.
Currently, MEF is working with MPS to identify and fund online resources that will benefit both students and staff utilizing online and hybrid learning to support their teaching.
In addition, MEF is holding virtual workshops to help staff and students transform their ideas into a reality for the 2020-2021 school year and beyond.
MEF recently awarded MHS teacher, Jean LaBelle-Pierce, a grant for a one year subscription to NEPRIS, an online platform of over 34,000 career professionals. LaBelle-Pierce will use the platform to connect MHS students to industry experts as part of their Senior Project, including virtual job shadowing and participating in informational interviews. MPS teachers may also use NEPRIS to host virtual class speakers or as part of their project based learning initiatives.
