33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time

Dear Friends,

This Sunday's Gospel reading is the Parable of the Talents. Jesus teaches us that all of us have God given gifts but ultimately it is up to us to use them wisely. Click here for the Scripture readings.

Sadly, Her Majesty's Government have seen fit to ban the public worship of Almighty God for the timebeing. However churches are permitted to remain open for individual prayer and Old St Pancras will remain open everyday for all.

Every Sunday in lockdown, the Blessed Sacrament will be exposed on the altar from 9.30am for an hour and organ music will played. Individual sheets will be available with aids to prayer and the bible reading and a reflection for the day, so please still come to church on the Lord's Day and feel free to come and go during the hour.

The Back to Basics study group will meet in church at 11am on Sunday
and we will be looking at the Old Testament. You must attend if you are hoping to be Baptised and/or Confirmed in February but everyone is welcome!

Good News Story. Click here to read about how our gardening project at St Paul's has helped trauma patients during the Covid crisis.

Spiritual resources. Click here to see some excellent courses and prayer material from the Jesuits.

Every Blessing,
