Evans, Adams: Toronto Ambient Air Quality Impacts from COVID-19

"Toronto Ambient Air Quality Impacts from COVID-19" is one of eight research projects recently announced by the city.

The research aims to identify sources of air pollution within Toronto that may result from changes in transportation patterns, energy use, employment and industrial operations before, during, and after the pandemic.

COVID-19 transportation challenges and solutions explored at student competition



Congratulations to six interdisciplinary student teams who competed in this year's New Frontiers in Transportation competition on the theme Transportation Network Resilience in the Age of COVID-19 and Beyond!

The collaboration of twenty-two students, twelve mentors, and three judges, together with organization and hosting by the U of T Transportation Alumni Committee executive team produced an unforgettable symposium on November 12.

"The future of transportation is so bright!" said Bruce Mori, Chair of the U of T Transportation Alumni Committee, after hearing the presentations.
