Click here to RSVP. Help Maintain Washington LawHelp!

Washington LawHelp is a dynamic community resource that requires continual updates by staff at the Northwest Justice Project to keep current with changes in the law—especially during this pandemic. More people now find themselves unexpectedly one crisis away from catastrophe. YOU can help us maintain this essential resource that can help avert disaster for our clients.

Next Thursday, November 19, the Northwest Justice Project is holding a free, virtual “Jubilee for Justice.” RSVP today (it’s free!) to join us on November 19, 2020 from 4:30-5:30 PM. If you RSVP by Thursday 11/17, you’ll be eligible for a prize drawing at the event. Come celebrate the transformative impact of legal aid and raise funds to fill the ongoing and critical legal needs of low-income people.

We’re excited that Stephanie Land, bestselling author of Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother's Will to Survive will be our featured speaker at this year’s Jubilee! Stephanie is a former NJP client and will reflect on the support she received from NJP as a homeless young mother escaping an unhealthy relationship.

Stephanie has been featured in The New York Times, Washington post, The Guardian, Cosmopolitan, The Atlantic, and many other publications. Learn more about her at www.stepville.com.

We’ll also feature live music by Seattle-based singer-songwriter Sheryl Wiser. Learn more about her music and philanthropy at www.sherylwiser.com.

I hope you will be able to join NJP’s friends and supporters to celebrate the transformative impact of our work, and raise funds to fill the ongoing and critical legal needs of people who can’t afford a lawyer.

Thank you,

Bryan Baker
Director of Development
