As we navigate these tumultuous times, it can be challenging to imagine the future of international education. With this installment of the One World \ One Northwestern quarterly gathering, we will reflect on why we became international educators and administrators, and imagine the immense future possibilities international education has in store for us and our students.
Join us in this important conversation with Northwestern alumna Kara Godwin, Director of Internationalization at the American Council on Education, to discuss new trends and best practices in international education.
Kara will share ACE’s new model of comprehensive internationalization and discuss how diversity, equity, and inclusion fit into that model and our work.
A Pell Grant recipient and first-generation college graduate, Godwin earned her PhD in comparative and international education from Boston College, and MS in higher education from Northwestern. Her previous experience includes global consulting and research on internationalization for governments, NGOs, and higher education institutions. You can read her full bio here.
