In the last 5 months, The Christian Chain has developed multiple ministries and programs that align with our mission of connecting people to people, churches to churches, and the world to Jesus Christ.
Thanks to a government grant, The Christian Chain was able to hire 10 new team members through the end of 2020 – from Marketing to tech development, to HR and business administration. We are so thankful to the Lord for His provision in enabling us to put together this team! We have a vision of seeing the Church united and unleashed and we want to share it with you.

Our upcoming app launch, Prayer Nook, is the app that lets you journal, request prayers, pray with your friends, and strengthen your prayer life – all in one easy to use web app. Pray for those in your feed, share personal prayers within your inner circle, and journal prayers in your own private notebook.

Our very first program, Samaritan Bags, was re-launched in September. Samaritan Bags partners with churches and organizations to pack bags of essential items to meet the immediate and ongoing needs of the homeless and those in vulnerable situations. Bags can be handed out to homeless shelters or churches to keep on hand, or can be kept in volunteers' cars in readiness for chance encounters. What makes us unique is we handle the logistics of customizing a safe packing event for any size group of any age or ability. |

It has been exciting to watch God use the talents and skills of an incredible team, and we are ready for the growth to come! Our director of partner and donor relationships, Tonya, helped us earn our Guidestar Gold Seal of Transparency which gives assurance to our donors about how their funds are being used. Our next steps are to grow our donor base so we can continue doing this work. Partners in Unity, our hallmark program, is the realization of our goal to be bridge builders among Christian denominations by seeking to enhance the long-term health of the Church by supporting church leadership and interdenominational cooperation. Through surveying local churches in the Phoenix, AZ area, we help churches identify biblical areas of unity within a congregation that may need improvement. Using scripture, we begin by meeting with church leaders to evaluate their understanding and practice of unity based on a specific set of criteria. After the survey has been completed, we will then produce a white-paper with the aggregate results, which will be used as both awareness material and as a starting point for churches to develop their unity strategies.

Our social media presence is up and running, and our blog series, Unity Stories, has launched! Check out our blog archives to read up on how churches and individuals are showing unity within their communities. The best way to grow on social media is by people liking and sharing our content.
