ADAPTING PROGRAMS FOR COVID-19

We've made a number of changes to our winter programs to ensure the safety of all program participants. Programs will operate out of the boat bays this year, and ergs will be spaced throughout the space to ensure at least 2m distancing between all participants.

In the event that Provincial or Rowing Canada COVID-19 group activity restrictions change in a manner that requires us to alter, suspend, or cancel our programs, participants will have the option to either receive a pro-rated refund, or not receive a refund and consider the prorated amount a donation to the club.

*FEES

Annual membership fees of $15 for Row Nova Scotia (RNS), and $24 for RCA will be automatically added by the online registration system to the first program joined each membership year (April 1-March 31). Programs for Juniors
(Ages 11-18)
Junior Rowing Programs at Mic Mac AAC are recommended for youth aged 12-18. However, 11-year-olds who are at least 56″ tall or weigh at least 70lbs will also be accepted. Junior Programs are open to anyone interested in incorporating indoor rowing and basic strength training into their physical activity or fitness routine. Junior Program Funding Assistance:

Families seeking financial assistance are encouraged to review KidSport funding criteria to see if they are eligible. Families can apply for up to $300 per year per child to help offset the cost of organized sport registration and equipment. Rowing programs at Mic Mac AAC are eligible for this funding. Check out:  www.kidsportcanada.ca/nova-scotia/apply-for-assistance/ for more information.
Programs for Adults
(Ages 19+)

Adult Programs are open to anyone aged 19+ interested in incorporating indoor rowing into their physical activity or fitness routine. There is no requirement to have previous rowing experience, or future intentions to row on water. Membership with Mic Mac AAC is not required.
