A foundation of polarization is to judge things in terms of "all good" or "all bad."
This is a tendency that we all have as humans.
So we need to catch ourselves in the act and perform what I call a manual override.
A short exercise:
NOTE: watch your reaction to these questions. Just considering them might make you uncomfortable. If so, it's a good opportunity to ask yourself why. After all ... they're just questions. 1. What's one thing that concerns you about your own side?
2. What's one thing that you can appreciate about the other side?
