heute erhältst Du die wichtigsten Neuigkeiten des letzten Monats zu XOIIOX Games und the FOG. Solltest Du Fragen dazu haben schreib mir bitte einfach eine Nachricht.
Dieses Oktober-Update wird nach dem letzten langen eher kurz. Wie Du ja siehst ist es leider auch deutlich zu spät, denn es hat sich bei uns sehr kurzfristig ein Umzug in eine neue Wohnung ergeben. Damit waren wir jetzt 2 Wochen lang sehr beschäftigt ... Kisten packen, umziehen und wieder Auspacken. Puhh.
Inzwischen habe ich aber auch wieder einen Computer mit Internetanschluß und ein neues XOLLOX-Hauptquartier. Allerdings ist noch nicht alles ganz fertig wie Du auf dem Photo siehst ... :)
Die erste digitale SPIEL ist ja ebenfalls vorüber und die Frage ist ob es sich gelohnt hat? Die klare Antwort dazu ist leider ein Nein.
Es ist zwar toll, daß Merz diese Messe in wenigen Monaten aus dem Boden gestampft hat, aber sie hat leider einige konzeptionelle Probleme, technische Brüche/Komplexitäten und andere Zielgruppen als sonst, so daß die Messe wenig besucht war und gerade kleine und mittlere Stände weitestgehend leer waren. So war es auch auf meinem.
Nichtsdestotrotz hatte ich einige tolle Besucher und bin auch sonst nicht gänzlich unzufrieden. Die Messe hat auf jeden Fall dazu geführt das ich mich sehr schnell mit vielen digitalen Themen beschäftigen musste. Tabletopia Seite überarbeiten, lernen wie man streamt mit Einrichtung Apps/Kameras usw., Discord Server aufbauen usw. Dies sind alles Dinge die ich auch zukünftig immer wieder nutzen kann und werde.

Die Illustration ist zwar noch am Anfang aber auf einem guten Weg. Ich hoffe insofern im nächsten Update erste Entwürfe zeigen zu können.
The FOG ist weiterhin online für 1-4 Spieler auf Tabletopia spielbar. Eine Anleitung und ein Erklär-Video findest Du dort ebenfalls. Ich wünsche Dir viel Spaß beim Spielen. Solltest Du einen Spielpartner suchen schreib mich einfach an.

here you see the most important news from last month concerning XOLLOX Games and The FOG. If you have any questions concerning them please just write me a message.
This October-Update will be rather short copared to the last long one. As you can see it is unfortunately much to late, because we moved at very short notice to another apartment. So we have been very busy with packing boxes, moving the boxes and unpacking the boxes for 2 weeks now. Puhh.
But by now I even have a computer with internet connection again and a new XOLLOX headquarter. As you can see in the picture not everything is quite done ... :)
The first digital SPIEL has also ended and the question comes up - was it worth it? The clear answer to that is unfortunately No.
It is great that Merz got this show running within only a few month time, but unfortunately it had some conceptional problems, technical breaks/complexities and different target groups than usual, so that the show was visited not very well and small and medium booth were mostly empty. As was mine.
Nevertheless I had some great visitors and am not fully unsatisfied altogether. The show got me to learn and invest in digital topics I otherwise might not have done yet which will surely help and be used in the future.
Redo Tabletopia, learn how to stream with setup apps/cameras etc., build up a Discord server etc.

The Illustration is still at the beginning but on a good path. So I hope to be able to show you first drafts in the next update.
The FOG is furthermore playable online on Tabletopia for 1-4 players. A Rulebook and a how-to-play video are also available there. Enjoy the game. Should you need a partner please just contact me. I gladly join.
