Program 2021 Bulletin #2
Welcome to those who have joined the WWC Presenter mailing list. When Words Collide is a unique type of festival where everyone – organizers and presenters – volunteer their time and efforts to bring readers and writers together in a celebratory weekend. Without you, there would be no festival.
Pandemic Impact on Our 2021 Festival
While there is currently no end in sight to this pandemic, it is still too soon to know if in-person events will be safe come next August. We continue to hope for the best and are planning a full in-person festival capped at 800 people. However, we are also preparing to move the full festival on-line should the health and safety of presenters and attendees require it. Therefore, as presenters, we need to ask you if you are ready, willing, and able to make the move with us.
2020 In-Person Festival Content Confirmation
Thank you to those who confirmed your participation in 2021 following Bulletin #1. We still need more of you, however, to confirm before we can begin adding new presenters and content to our schedule. We have received additional presenter applications and content suggestions, but wish to confirm the status of those who applied last year before processing new additions.
If you have not already, please click the links below to review the status of our program as we transition the postponed 2020 schedule to 2021. Then email us to:
a) Let us know if you still plan to present in 2021 and if so
b) Any changes to your participation (i.e. many of you presented your topics at our 2020 online festival and may wish to drop or replace them for 2021).
c) If you are willing to present your sessions online if need be.

We are asking all presenters listed in WWC 2021 ItineraryP.pdf to respond by Nov 30, 2020. After that date, we will have to remove anyone who hasn't responded from the schedule so we can begin adding new applications and content. If you are removed and still wish to participate, you will have to reapply . (Effort we are trying to avoid through this confirmation process.) Thank you for your understanding.

Please note there are 2 itinerary files. ItineraryC lists presenters and content that have been confirmed since Bulletin #1. ItineraryP list the presenters and content that have not been confirmed. In this version of the spreadsheets we have also included content from last April that had not yet been scheduled.
2021 Festival Schedule Going Forward
If you are not listed in the above files as a presenter and wish to present in 2021, we are accepting presenter registrations and proposals but are not including them in the schedule until this review/confirmation step is completed.

We are not yet requesting panel discussion preferences. Presenters currently listed with panels are those who proposed them.
