In the lead up to Christmas we have lots of fundraising activities planned. On top of having fun, the money raised for each activity will allow the PTA to fully fund some really lovely Xmas events for the kids and much needed school projects. Including creating mini-libraries in every classroom with age specific books!

Friday 20 November -Christmas jumper donations - please donate any old Xmas jumpers drop off to 75 Gates Green Rd.

Recycle your clothes - collection this Thursday
We are running a recycle bag collection this Thursday using a different supplier to before. Please drop off bags by 9.30am to 60 Gates Green Road. Not the school.
What can be recycled: Clothes, handbags, toys, teddies, shoes, curtains, bedding, cosmetics. (Ignore the usual list). As long as it is clean they are happy to accept all of these items.
Drop off: 60 Gates Green Road When: By morning of Thurs 19th Nov
Please make sure they are wrapped securely in any plastic bag.
Dare to be different - This Friday 20 November
We want to encourage the kids to have fun this Friday and stand out from the crowd. For one day only, they will be able to come to school in a modified uniform of their choice!
Each modification will cost 50p and you can choose up to 4 from the list below.
Have a crazy hair style
Wear nail varnish
Have a temporary tattoo
Wear a different tie or no tie at all
Wear odd or brightly coloured socks/tights
Wear a hat in class
Wear a hoodie over your uniform
Wear a football strip instead of your shirt
Please bring the correct money to school on Friday. Collection buckets will be placed at each entrance.
Smarties - the challenge is on...
Our PTA would like to give you a yummy treat,
so we’re sending you these colourful Smarties to eat!
Keep the tube, don’t throw it away,
do tasks and good deeds to earn your pay.
So come on Wickham Common pupils, answer our call,
So we can raise money for the good of our school!
Be a “smartie” and fill your tube with £1’s & 20p’s
And return to school by 27th Nov please!

Rudolph's Relay Race sign-up is now open
Wickham Common Primary School is running our second socially-distanced relay race around Coney Hall! Saturday 12th December, 11.30am-1.30pm starting and finishing at the school.
The race organisers will need your child's information filled out here to allow them to plot the relay route and in case of an emergency on the day.
If your children weren't able to get involved last time this is their chance! We can only accept the first 50 houses so sign-up quickly. Sign up form.
