For more than a quarter of a century, Mübeccel and Cezmi Akdis have been working at the Swiss Institute for Allergy and Asthma Research SIAF and have thus
provided essential impulses in science for the benefit of society and for the well-being of patients directly affected by allergies and asthma. The two award winners have led the SIAF, as an Associated Institute of the University of Zurich, to today's leading international position in the scientific world.
