The museum operates on funds from donations and modest eBay sales. Many of our donations come from in-person visits and those have been few since the museum opened on a reservation basis in June (per the November 13, 2020 Executive Order the museum is closed until further notice).

However, you can contribute to the museum through your Amazon purchases. By selecting vintageTEK as your charity and shopping at smile.amazon.com a portion of your purchase price will be donated to the museum. See our Amazon Smile Charity page for details.
We continue to scan and post Annual Reports on our website. We now have 1964 to 1980 posted on our Annual Reports page.
Our November Photo of the Month is this nice image of the entrance of the Sunset plant at night.
Last month in the newsletter we shared this early image of the Beaverton site.

When you examine these high resolution photos you can find all sorts of interesting objects. The circled portion in this photo caught our attention.
The high resolution circled portion shows an interesting short ramp structure. Although not related to Tektronix, we are curious so let us know if you have any information on this.
Harpenden was the first facility in the UK and opened in 1964. We have a nice story by Harry Sellers who was responsible for setting up and operating
this facility. His story is on our Tek UK - The Early Days 1963/1964 page.
In May of 1978 Tektronix UK started publishing their own newletter similiar to TekTopics for Gurensey and TekTalk and TekWeek for the US.

We are posting these thanks to Chris How and Roger Cawley who are scanning and sending them to us.

The Harry Sellers story in fact was published in the No7 April 1979 issue. You can read them on our Tek Times page.
We recently added two TekWeek articles on our 4051/2/4 Graphic Desktop Systems page. Unfortunately the individuals in the photos aren't identified. We would like your help in identifying them. We have high resolution images with the individuals numbered on our Help Identify Individuals In 4051 and 4052 Group Photos page. Take a look and let us know of anyone you can identify.
Our Repair Videos page now has a new tutorial on repairing the 468 +5V storage supply which is often at fault in this oscilloscope. Our thanks to volunteer and Chairman Bob Haas for taking the time to create and share this video.
