With Pastor Sara’s continued symptoms of Covid-19, the Leadership Team has decided to cancel this week’s Wednesday and Sunday worship services. We appreciate your understanding and continued prayers for Pastor Sara and her family as we all work our way through this tough situation.

Adult Bible Studies will be cancelled until at least the first week in December, pending Pastor Sara's recovery and ability to lead.

Due to Covid restrictions, we're doing Advent Decorating differently. We're hoping to decorate without gathering everyone together at the same time to huff and puff on each other. If you'd like to sign up with your family, or learning pod, or someone you trust, you may do so. As always, please wear masks when in the church building.

Thank you Flame of Faith for your donations of Christmas Shoe Boxes. Flame of Faith had 25 boxes of LOVE which were delivered to First United Methodist Church in Fargo on November 16th and from there will go to children in North Dakota. Altrusa of Fargo, a local service club donated 33 Christmas Shoe Boxes so we were able to make 58 children's Christmas a little brighter and happy this year. Many thanks from the Flame of Faith Mission Committee for your generosity and time spent on this project.

Help provide food to struggling Dominican families. Learn to cook Dominican-style and donate to a good cause!

"Gertrudis' cooking is a proven winner," says recent participant Colleen McKirdy of Spearfish, SD. "I think people will enjoy being taught how to cook a Dominican meal by someone who's been feeding her family and friends for years and years."
|

"It's easy and fun. Simply enjoy a 20-minute cooking demonstration," says SOP Advisory Board member Karen Workman. "We can't travel to build ovens and lead seminars, but we can fund food baskets for people who have lost their livelihoods due to the pandemic." Our Dominican SOP Director will work with local pastors to deliver food baskets to struggling families.

Each year, UMW does a gift exchange for a charity. This year, we chose the New Life Center -- and we invite the whole congregation to join us in supporting this vital community ministry.

The Adopt-a-Bin program is a great volunteer opportunity at the New Life Center. We are always looking for individuals, families, or businesses that are willing to spend about an hour each week emptying our donation bins (clothing, shoes, belts, and purses) and bringing the donations to the New Life Center Thrift Store.
