National Health Ethics Week
2020

November 2-8, 2020 was National Health Ethics Week 2020.

While the activities may have changed due to current health guidelines, we created new resources and highlighted items from our Ethics After Hours and Featured Article Summary collections. These resources focused on the Covid-19 pandemic and related topics in anticipation of our annual online conference in early December 2020.
Here are the selected resources released daily:

Ethics in the Time of COVID-19: Navigating Uncharted Waters

This year, NSHEN’s annual online conference considers some of the substantive and procedural ethical questions related to the first wave of response to COVID-19. It also starts a conversation about moral distress and lessons learned by those working in the health care system.

We will be exploring a range of ethical concerns related to COVID-19 through lecture-style presentations, simulated healthcare interactions, and recorded panel discussions. Each session will be posted online for asynchronous viewing and supplemented by additional resources linked to the topic.
