Tuesday night 10 November at 1830 AEDT (that's TOMORROW!), we make good on our CBAA2020 promise to go further into the world of the remote and home studio. And we bring you up to date on some brilliant chat at the Technorama Q&A FB group.

Technorama Tuesday Webinar

So many stations have responded to COVID lockouts by shifting operations away from the studio and to offsite locations.  Leaving the station is not a perfect solution, but home-based broadcasting - like the home office - can work pretty well.  And it's much better than going off the air.

The CBAA session featured Stephen Stockwell (CMTO and triple j), Stephen Wilkinson (Hope 103.2) and Tim Borgas (SACBA) in an all-too-brief overview of what they and their colleagues have been doing in the past months to enable broadcasting for their (and other) stations.

We only had 45 minutes at CBAA.  We knew there wouldn't be enough time to answer all the questions, and the CBAA platform didn't allow direct interaction.  So this is the promised followup, where you can delve deeper into the subject, ask direct questions to the panel, and get your serious fill of tech.

BTW there were some amazing tips that came out of the short session.  Tim's "call yourself to record an interview" was gold. Stephen (both of them) championed "Cleanfeed".  There's so much to learn, and so much that's easy to do.
