CANBERRA POTTERS MEMBER EXHIBITION OPENING

Join us for the opening of our annual Members’ Exhibition with opening guest speaker Rebecca Edwards, Sid and Fiona Myer Curator of Ceramics and Design, National Gallery of Australia. 
Award-winners will also be announced on the night.
 
Please note that the opening will be held outdoors with number limitations in the gallery. Please choose your clothing accordingly.

Want to submit work for the exhibition? Deliveries of work will be accepted in the Canberra Potters Shop 10:30-3:30pm daily until Sunday 8 November. For more details, head to our website here.

Workshop: Calm Clay

Feed your mind and nourish your soul in our Calm Clay Workshop as part of Design Canberra.

You will be led in a series of making exercises which allow you to enter into a grounded and calm state through intense focus. The state of Flow described by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi can lead to “…, a sense of clarity…,” It’s a place in which creativity can flourish. A salve to our modern times.

Along the way, you will learn some clay making skills and gain an appreciation for the material.

Wheelchair accessible.

COVID-19 protocols: Participants must book in as strict limits on numbers. Sign in stations, sanitising stations at strategic locations across the venue, increased cleaning roster will be in place.
