Digitization and Audiovisual Production Coordinator - Ohio State University, Columbus, OH
  • Manages the collection, digitization and cataloging of student and faculty work used for educational, accreditation, promotional, research, advancement and archival purposes. Teaches model photography workshops to Knowlton School students. Manages the Digital Library website. Provides audiovisual production support for school events, manages live streaming of events, and coordinates virtual events using Zoom, YouTube and other platforms. Acts as liaison to Classroom Services and Engineering Technology Services regarding technologies that support these events. Provides AV tech support to faculty, speakers and event participants. Coordinates video recording, post-production, and related services for events and marketing at the Knowlton School. 
Digital Programs Assistant - Frye Art Museum, Seattle, WA
  • Supports the management of digital education content and helps to produce virtual education programs for a wide variety of audiences. Maintains A/V needs for virtual education programs, helps produce and edit engaging content for digital platforms, and manages ticketing and registration for virtual programs. Ensures consistent, mobile-friendly look and feel to all digital education content and style and facilitates publishing of content to the Frye's blog and/or website. Works with web-based multimedia formats and manages the operations of all digital and live-streaming programs, including audio and video archives. Manages ticketing and reservations for all Education programs and serves as the primary Box Office contact by supervising the ticketing process remotely. Maintains email lists for education and arts engagement programs and lists for outreach. 
Paid Photo Archives Intern - Center for Railroad Photography and Art, Madison, WI
  • Preserves photographic materials by transferring original media to archival-safe housing. Maintains original organizational system created by photographer. Notes strengths of collection with regards to era, geography, subject matter, etc., and identifies potentially significant images. Digitizes analog media using digital cameras and/or scanners, transferring organization scheme to digital files. Posts and shares photographs online through the Center’s social media channels. 
Digital Asset Librarian - Arthrex, Naples, FL
  • Coordinates and supervises requests received by the Digital Asset Management (DAM) team. Ensures requests are handled within the expected service level agreements. Assigns requests to team members and tracks them to ensure completion. Trains team and users to effectively use the ticketing system. Creates and improves documentation for workflow and training for requests and ticketing system. Develops and maintains governance policy. Assists in planning and executing DAM team projects and creation of any training documentation for projects. Supports on-going DAM user interface optimization/enhancements according to best practices and user feedback. Catalogues and distributes assets to the various Arthrex channels.
Registrar - Asian Art Museum, San Francisco, CA
  • Oversees and coordinates registration functions for exhibitions and coordination of the schedule for the installation team and couriers. Generates and/or reviews a variety of documents, including loan agreements and condition report forms. Manages registration details for traveling exhibitions organized by the museum, including developing budgets. Administers proper processing/coding for expenses and revenues. Ensures that artworks are properly prepared for display and installation. Reviews and assists with development of contracts and monitors adherence to contract terms. Oversees incoming loans and selected gallery rotations and coordinates with curators, conservators, preparators, security and notifies other departments about changes in the galleries. Provides support and assists with ongoing registration and collections management duties, thematic exhibitions, new accessions, object numbering, out-going and in-coming loan logistics and coordinates conservation and preparation needs and other registration duties as assigned. 
August Wilson Project Archivist (full-time Visiting Librarian) - University of Pittsburg, Pittsburg, PA
  • Arranges the papers of playwright August Wilson in accordance to processing guidelines and DACS. Creates a finding aid to describe the Wilson collection. Identifies and arranges preservation treatment for items, including the rehousing of the collection into archival quality enclosures and containers. Arranges for the preservation or transfer of digital media. Recommends and helps to prepare materials from the Wilson Archive for exhibition in Hillman Library. Reviews the publishes material and prepares them for cataloging. Identifies and prepares AV material for potential preservation reformatting. Hires, supervises, trains, and evaluates student assistants. Provides reference assistance in support of the academic and research use of Archives & Special Collections including staffing the reference desk and interacting with researchers in person and virtually. Works with staff to identify material for use in classroom instruction. Partners with staff on programming and outreach associated with the collection for University and community audiences.
Tyson Scholars of American Art - Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Bentonville, AK
  • Inviting PhD candidates (or equivalent), post-doctoral researchers and senior scholars from any fiend researching American art to propose research projects that intersect meaningfully with the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art's collections, library resources, architecture, grounds, curatorial expertise, programs and exhibitions, and/or the University of Arkansas faculty broadly. Applicants may be focusing on art history, architecture, visual and material culture, American studies, craft, Indigenous art, Latin American art, and contemporary art. Fellowships are residential and support full-time writing and research for terms that range from six weeks to nine months. While in residence, Tyson scholars will have access to the art and library collections of Crystal Bridges as well as the library at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
Digital Preservation Archivist - Georgia State University, Atlanta, GA
  • Develops policies and best practices to ensure long-term protection of and access to digital materials. Collaborates on implementation of digital preservation workflows. Provides guidance on strategies, tools, and processes for digital content preservation. Has the opportunity to continue building and managing the Social Change Collection by cultivating new donors and working with existing donors. Plays a key role in advising the University community and external content creators on strategies for digital content preservation. Works collaboratively towards a preservation strategy for digital objects in the library's collections, including 95,000 digitized and born-digital objects currently available in the digital collections. 
Photograph Conservator (grant-funded extended temporary position) - The Center for Creative Photography (CCP) at the University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ
  • Assists the Senior Photograph Conservator in establishing a materials characterization program focused on using techniques to measure physical and chemical features unique to each object. Acquires and sets up equipment including: an X-Ray fluorescence spectrometer, a spectrophotometer, a glossmeter, and advanced multimodality imaging tools. Performs trials using the Department's sample photograph collection to develop and write working procedures. Collaborates to design and carry out a pilot characterization study from the Fine Print collection with the goal of producing publishable results. Will have the opportunity to perform routine institutional conservation and preservation work for the fine print and archive collections.
