“The trees are about to show us how lovely it is to let the dead things go.”

As the leaves begin to fall, and the rest of nature is preparing for its long winter’s nap, we know that 2020 is coming to an end. In a year that we had to stay still and apart, take on additional responsibilities, deal with employment loss, shift our minds and skillsets, and get used to a new normal, an end would seem welcomed. Compounded by an intense presidential election and onslaught of divisive media, it’s not surprising that our collective mental health is on the decline. And while we’re tired and weary, hibernating for the rest of the year may not be an option, so we need to focus on what’s charging our lives and what’s draining it.

Observing mother nature’s winding down and prepping for her next growing season, we need to take note and begin to do things that nurture our body and mind and release that which deprives us of our inner peace. So we, too, are ready to spring back into action when the opportunity arises. Check out our list of alternative stress-reducing activities around Metro Detroit for some rejuvenating ideas. And some say Realtors make the best therapists, so don’t hesitate to reach out with any of your needs. 😊
