  • Three startups stand to receive up to $25,000 at the end of the accelerator program, in non-dilutive funding, i.e. we take no equity from startups in our program.
  • Our alums have raised over $200M in funding to date. Notable alumni businesses and entrepreneurs are TubeMogul (Nasdaq: TUBE, $420M market cap), World of Good (acquired by eBay), Revolution Foods, and Medinas.
  • To apply, companies must have a working prototype that demonstrates their business’s viability and a UC student, faculty, or alum on their team. Watch how LAUNCH helped startups succeed.
Graduate Remote Instruction Innovation Fellows Program

From Dec 14 to Jan 15, 2021, Fellows will work independently on the creation of course materials (in consultation with the Instructor of Record, as appropriate) and self-guided training. Each GRI Fellow will receive a stipend of $2,000 and a Certificate in Remote Instruction.

Program Office Tips & Tidbits

Fall 2020 Grade Letters
  • Official grade letters for the Fall 2020 semester will not be available until Jan. Professors cannot start entering grades to CalCentral until Dec 5 and the final deadline is Dec 23.
  • Please review your employers documentation requirements carefully. If your employer's year end deadline for reimbursement is before Dec 23 but your grades have not posted to CalCentral, unofficial grade letters stating you "received a grade of B- or better" can be requested via this form and by submitting proof of B- or better to ewmba_office@haas.berkeley.edu.
  • Review other documentation options here.
What to do if... You need to plan ahead for Spring 2021 fees

How to Calculate the Spring 2021 Fees
  • The all inclusive per unit fee for 2020-2021 is $3464. Multiply that by the number of units you will be taking.
  • Spring 2021 tuition will be due in January. Enrollment in the Fee Payment Plan is per semester, not per year. Students must enroll in the plan again for Spring 2021.
Setting up your Direct Deposit Account
  • A Direct Deposit Electronic Funds Transfer Account is the easiest way to get refunds.
  • Go to CalCentral > My Finances > Financial Resources > Billing & Payments > Direct Deposit.
  • Complete the steps to set up your account.
1098-T Form
  • Students will receive notification that their 1098-T form is read by the end of Jan 2021. More information here on the Student Billing website.
