hi <<First Name>>

hope you're doing well? things have been good here and busy. this is a view from inside my new studio, where there's more room for projects and larger scale pieces!

here's a recap of that process: my pieces, archival prints hand mounted onto wood, take about 2 weeks to complete. the photograph and the wood are both sealed separately and sealed together, this creates depth and a painting like feel.

if you can't find the photo that captures you on my site, that's a fraction of my catalogue and I'm happy to find one that does. some people are looking for very specific shots and I've been able to go out and find that for them, here are some examples: commissions
I do have pieces in studio ready to go and that inventory is updated as new pieces are finished and sold. click here to check out what's in studio now. I offer free delivery in the lower mainland and contact me for shipping quotes outside that radius, I've shipped to Quebec, Florida, England, etc.

if you'd like a socially distant studio tour, please let me know as I'm happy to make that happen.
my piece 'anchor' 48" x 36" 11 ed. in a beautiful interior design project by Purity Designs thanks Sydney!
looking glass II, 11ed. getting the chance to do another edition of this reflection piece was a treat. this view is from the sunshine coast bc and this edition now resides there too!
behind the scenes I've had a few things going on and one of them is a project I'm really excited about.

I was lucky to have a set designer contact me about purchasing one of my large scale pieces for the backdrop of the main character's house in a tv series.

after being approved by the set designer, director, producer and executives aplenty, I was making, wrapping and shipping my largest piece yet overseas on a tight deadline.

I'd shipped it a few days early which created enough of a buffer for UPS to lose the package for 5 days! true story. thankfully it was found and delivered the day filming began. which makes this a super fun story... unless you're living it.

I've been lucky to get a few sneak peeks from the set of the season they're filming now, which I'll be sharing in the new year when the new season is released.

next month I'm including the trailer in my studio news as that's fun. I'm sure you can guess where filming is by the choice of photo, above. but if you have any guesses on the series, let me know!
I've added this new photo, 'alight' to my "quiet places" album. this is part of my dark/light series, similar in feel to 'sliver' which are both colour photos but present as black and white.

these are taken just past the blue hour so the colours are washed out. these types of photos feel like possibilities. the dark framing the light, just as the colours and sounds and all things possible in a new day, begin.
it's my favourite season again! fog! I've got some new fog work as the last few weeks here have been quite crazy with all the fog. they aren't up on my site yet, but if you want a sneak peek let me know and I'll let you see what's coming next.
I took this photo right before the pandemic began but it has that vibe, of industry and nature colliding. thought you might enjoy it.
thanks for reading about my work!

referrals are really helpful for a small business like mine, if you know anyone who might be interested please forward this email to them, or have them sign up for my studio news by clicking here or join me on the socials, links at the bottom of the page.

wishing you a great weekend!
