ELP order form launches 10 November 2020

Headteachers and nominated buyers will be able to submit their ELP 2021/23 subscription decision from 10 November.

Extension of furlough scheme

The Government has announced that the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS), known as furlough, will remain open until 31 March 2021.

Get 4G routers for disadvantaged children in years 3 - 11 who are isolating, extremely clinically vulnerable or shielding

DfE guidance on remote education support for children who cannot attend school during Coronavirus.

Flowchart for schools updated: No need to inform DfE of decisions made by schools who use the LCRC resource pack

Cases that meet the LCRC thresholds will still need to be reported to the LCRC. Note added as to what information the LA requires in writing when reporting positive cases.

Proposal for Wood End Infant and Wood End Academy to become Wood End Primary

Wood End Infant School and Wood End Academy would become Wood End Primary – a single school for pupils from Nursery to Year 6, instead of separate infant and junior schools.

Wellbeing for education return COVID-19 training - Two new dates added

Workshops for school staff to increase knowledge of the potential mental health and wellbeing impact of Covid-19 on staff, children and young people, and parents and carers.
