Dixie Beer to Get New Name

Dixie Beer owner Gayle Benson announced that the iconic beer brand from New Orleans will be renamed Faubourg Beer. The decision was made after a six-month process to respond to suggestions its name was outdated and not inclusive.
The company calls the new name a “tribute to the diverse neighborhoods of New Orleans.”

Shelton Brothers to Cease Operations

Renowned importer Shelton Brothers, which imports craft wine, cider, spirits and beer brands from around the world says it has been forced into liquidation by its bank.
The company was founded in 1996 by brothers Dan, Joel, and Will Shelton and has served as an importer of more than 150 authentic craft alcohol beverage brands, as well as a distribution partner for a number of American breweries.
