The SCF Symphonic Band is teaming with the SCF Theatre Program and the SCF Veteran Services to present a concert this Thursday, November 12 at 7:30 p.m. called “CALLING ALL VETERANS.” This performance will honor our SCF Veteran students, staff, and faculty who will be recognized during the concert. Two actors from the SCF Theatre Program will embody Abraham Lincoln and World War II soldiers as they narrate on three pieces of music including Lincoln Portrait, The Greatest Generation, and American Veteran.

Join us on the SCF Music Facebook page to watch the concert live-streamed. Thank you for sharing that link with your contacts.

Here is the link to the Suncoast Culture Club podcast episode we did on the concert with Lisa Goss (SCF Veterans Service Department), Tenesia Pinkney (SCF flute player and Navy veteran), and Garrett Hight (SCF Theatre Program actor) as our guests – the episode can also be heard on your preferred podcast player. This podcast will provide you with a real insiders view to the music (complete with audio clips!) and the wonderful work our Veterans Services Department does for the over 300 veterans, military dependents, and family members who attend SCF.
