Auction News - Plants for Sale
LAST CHANCE TO PURCHASE: Due to county restrictions, our annual auction dinner was cancelled this year. We have quite a few of the spider plants left for sale. The prices are on the photos. We are offering no contact payment and local delivery. If you are interested, please text JoAnna Machado Perez at 209-815-2256 with your choice. She will then get back to you with payments instructions.

Scrip News
The last day to order scrip to guarantee you will receive your order before Thanksgiving is Friday November 13th by Noon.
Please call the school office at 823-4513, or send an email to scrip@sasmanteca.org to place a scrip order. Remember to include a contact number. Any items we do not have in stock will automatically be put on back order unless otherwise stated by you.

Preschool Fundraiser
Our annual wreath fundraiser was a success! Thank you to those who have placed their orders to support the Preschool. The wreaths will be delivered at the school the week of November 30th. We will notify you once it is available so you may arrange time for pick up.
If you missed it and were not able to preorder, we got you covered! We have the following extra wreaths available. If you are interested, please email jennifer.dalen@sasmanteca.org to pre-purchase the item and quantity you would like to purchase. They will be sold on a first come first serve basis.

CYO News
In anticipation of a possible CYO 2020-2021 Basketball season, we are seeking coaches for the following positions:
-3rd Grade Boys
-5th Grade Boys
-6th Grade Boys
-3rd Grade Girls
-6th Grade Girls
We are awaiting final approval from the Diocese of Stockton before we can start registering players and setting up practices. However, we would like to have coaches in place when we receive that approval. If you are interested please contact Glenn Hernandez and Belynda Estrada at cyo@sasmanteca.org

Giving Tree
Christmas time is coming soon and we are preparing for our annual Giving Tree. St. Anthony’s Giving Tree is a heartwarming ministry that involves our entire parish. During the month of November and December leading up to Christmas, the Giving Tree Ministry acts as a vehicle so that members of our parish can share their blessings with those who are less fortunate in our community. We are asking for gift cards of any kind to give to a needy child in our community. Your generous donations also help families that are in various shelters and those that reach out for help during Christmas time.
Thanks to your generosity in 2019, St Anthony’s Giving Tree received 1338 gifts, helping approximately 270 families. Due to Covid-19 and in order to keep everyone safe, we are asking if you can please donate gift cards and drop them off in the mail slot at parish office or school office. Gift cards can be dropped off any time prior to December 15th. We will not be accepting gifts this year.
We will also be collecting items for the Christmas food baskets which are given out on December 23rd. Each class will have a list of items St. Vincent de Paul is requesting. This list will go out in next week's newsletter.

School Shirts - Embroidery
Embroidery orders should be back this week. We are still accepting new orders if you need shirts processed. We will also have used uniforms out next week during parent conferences if you are in need of additional uniforms.

O God, By whose mercy the faithful departed find rest, look kindly on your departed veterans who gave their lives in the service of their country. Grant that through the passion, death, and resurrection of your Son they may share in the joy of your heavenly kingdom and rejoice in you with your saints forever.

Computers from School
If you have borrowed a school computer for distance learning, please plan to bring it back once your child returns to classroom learning. Computers will not be sent home for students that are home sick unless you anticipate your child will be out more than three days.

This week our yearbook submission topic is your students “FIRST DAY" of School and your COVID-style “SUMMER" - See the attached flyer for further details. Include the word “FIRST DAY or SUMMER” and any other explanation in the Description field. If you have any questions feel free to email us at yearbook@sasmanteca.org. (You can still send us your “COLLECTIONS” and “SPOOKY” photos too.)
