Wellness Ambassador Spotlight
Michelle Harris, IT Business Operations
"I believe the most rewarding experience thus far has been seeing the enthusiasm and pure responses from those that have participated. One example of an event we've hosted is Love on Loan, where the SPCA comes out with animals for staff to snuggle up with and destress. The smiles and laughter in the room were truly inspiring to witness at work."

Featured Wellness Mini Grant
Wellness Ambassador Maria Tuccori used the funds from her Mini Grant to buy supplies for her department's Coloring and Meditation event where her co-workers could color, chat with each other, and complete a guided mediation session. She also planned a gardening class in which people could learn how to create mini air plant gardens while socializing with each other. Both events aimed to encourage people to create lasting treasures through fun activities!

Ask the Dietitian!
Question: I’ve heard that the limonene in lemon peel is good for overall health. Is this true?
Answer: Limonene serves as a natural predator deterrent when the fruit is still on the tree, but once it’s in our bodies, it is thought to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-stress, and maybe even disease-preventing properties. Read more about limonene on our website!
Submit your question via this ‘ask the dietitian’ survey. If we answer your question, you win a prize! Read all the questions answered by a dietician on our website!
