All our work is project managed by the owner of West Coast Pools - Arron Pearson. He takes care of all the details to give you a great pool experience.
Arron has worked in the pool industry for over a decade including ownership and management of Pools & Spas Kapiti with its award-winning Hot Spring Spas showroom and Kapiti Pool Services for all your pool maintenance requirements.
Our pools are manufactured right here in Wellington and include New Zealand leading Affordable Pools range and one of Australasia’s best - the Riverina Pools range. We have a tonne of options that suit most budgets and requirements. Weighing Fish In
Our scales in our weigh shed have recently decided to give up, so we currently cannot weigh in any fish at this time. Sorry for the inconvenience we will inform you once we have them fixed and returned.
Coastguard Boatmaster Course
We would like to find out if there is anyone who would like to advance their boating skills and complete a Boatmaster course. This is New Zealand’s premier boating course and is designed for those who have enjoyed boating for a while and are ready to admit that they need to know more. It spends time on Regulations and Navigation and Boat handling.
The course is 30 hours duration and while no commercial application the Boatmaster certificate is a prerequisite for the more advanced Yachtmaster Coastal Certificate.
We can cater for 16 people per course and is open to anyone over the age of 15 yrs.
At this stage, there is no funding available so the full cost of the course would be around $400.00 each but don’t be put off by this thought as I will try and find some money from somewhere.
If we only have a small number of members wanting to do this course, we have the option of being able to combine with the Mana Cruising Club in Paremata for you to complete this course.
