Happy Thanksgiving top all my lovely American readers. I hope you manage to shut the door on the troubles of the world today and enjoy this special holiday.
Last December a reader asked me for the mulled wine recipe that I kept mentioning but had yet to put onto my blog. So here it is: my deeply delicious and extremely festive Italian mulled wine, or as it is really known vin brulé. This recipe is full of cheery, warming flavours - it's a great way to get a boozy mug-hug :)
I've also dropped my reader favourite mulled grape juice in too. It's non-alcoholic, so suitable for everybody.
No other drink rings out the arrival of the festive season quite like vin brulé does. This deeply warming and comforting Italian mulled wine is easy to prepare, serves a crowd and screams of Christmas.
Hot mulled grape juice is full of those spices associated with autumn, winter and Christmas. Since it’s non-alcoholic this juice is a warm and cosy drink the whole family can enjoy.
