ABOUT THE SEARCHES

These PubMed live searches have been developed, tested and endorsed as part of the Health Libraries for the National Standards Research Project (HeLiNS), a joint initiative of Health Libraries Australia and Health Libraries Inc. The searches provide updated results for topics aligned to the Australian National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards. These searches were first released in July 2018. These current searches were updated in October 2020 and have been adapted and expanded to reflect the NSQHS 2nd edition.

The searches have been created by a librarian with expertise in searching for evidence on health. They have undergone extensive internal testing, but have not been developed as objectively derived and validated search filters. Each search (and subset search string) has undergone consultation and review by a panel of health librarians with searching expertise and knowledge of the needs and interests of the targeted audience.
Did you publish an article, speak at a conference, present a poster during 2020? The Library would like to hear from you. The Library keeps a record of staff publishing during their time at South West Healthcare.
