PASTORS CORNER

"To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven."  A time to say hello, and now it is a time to say good-bye. I cannot believe how quickly 2.5 years have passed.   On behalf of the Lee family, I would like to bid farewell to my church family and inform you that we are transitioning to our new ministerial district, Belleville & Madoc as of December, 05, 2020.
I can say that it has been a pleasure to call you my church family!  Thank you, College Park, for being my family for the past 2+ years.  Thank you for loving me and my family.  We do not deserve all the love, care, encouragement you’ve provided for us.  We simply thank God for you.  I also want to take a moment to thank our leadership team: Pastor DeSilva, our elders, deacons/deaconesses, ministry leaders, and Julie.  I know CPC has an amazing team that will continue expanding God’s kingdom on earth.
So, as you press on together, never lose sight that you were made to delight in God, you’ve been called to be radical disciples of Him in every aspect of your life.

Thank you once again for loving, challenging, encouraging, and nurturing us. I pray that God would continue to pour out His spirit on you as you work together in bringing souls to Jesus.  Let us remain blessed and faithful until Jesus comes!

ADVENTURER CLUB NEWS
This has been a busy time for the Adventurer Club.  First, let us congratulate the 3 ABE teams that participated in the Bible Experience.  The certificates are above to view as they placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd. More importantly, they learned more about God and various ways to understand His word.  This Sabbath is also special, since it is our Induction Service.  Parents, we ask that you please log on to ZOOM at 3:45pm and review the program sent to your emails.  Another exciting event will be "The Great Adventurer Race" coming up on December 13th, 2020.  Please see the flyer below.  It is a fundraiser event with a grand prize and gift bags for all children. There is also a link directly on the flyer, where you can register if you intend to participate. It is only a few questions. We look forward to having participants from the church at large, as this is open to anyone.  Please complete registration no later than December 9th, 2020.  We will see you this afternoon for Induction!
